Dr. Maura Scanlan, N.D., L.Ac.
Dr Maura Scanlan N.D., L.Ac is a naturopathic physician and Acupuncturist. She is founder of Kirkland Natural Health and Pacifica Natural Medicines and has been practicing in the Kirkland / Bellevue area of Washington State since 2001. Dr Scanlan has a general family practice and has vast experience in endocrinology, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, fatigue, digestive problems and women’s health.
Dr Scanlan’s naturopathic approach to many health concerns often starts with doing food allergy testing and helping to diminish the overall inflammation and irritation in the body. While patients are doing their food allergy cleanse she will then review their endocrine system and test adrenal and thyroid function. She spends time with patients teaching them about diet and blood sugar balancing and helps them to design a diet that reduces their allergy reactions and optimizes their energy.
Dr Scanlan works with women at all stages of life helping menstrual complaints, fertility issues and menopausal symptoms. She is familiar with hormone replacement therapy and will support women with acupuncture, diet, vitamins, mineral, herbs and /or bio-identical hormones.
Dr Scanlan integrates acupuncture into her practice and treats the whole body by addressing all aspects of a disease by helping the mind and body connection.
