Dr. Michael Woo, ND, LAc is a primary care physician in Naturopathic Medicine and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Washington. Dr.Woo is uniquely qualified to blend the arts of Eastern medicine with the sciences and therapies of Naturopathic medicine.
He supports a general practice with an emphasis on Environmental medicine, specializing with people with chemical sensitivities and toxicities, with exposures to chemicals that may contain heavy metals, solvents and/or pesticides their home or occupational environment.
After graduating from Bastyr University in 1996 with the Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Acupuncture Oriental Medicine, Dr.Woo worked and trained with one of the premier environmental medicine specialist in the country. He helped develop and supervised one of the most comprehensive detoxification programs in the U.S., treating many conditions and people domestically, as well as many international patients.
Dr. Woo has been in the medical-health field since 1986. He was an athletic trainer and educator for amateur and professional teams in British Columbia, Canada while obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. He has been in private practice as well worked in the hospital and university setting.
Dr. Woo enjoys the challenge of helping people re-establish control of their lives and define their sense of well being. Each person is approached as an individual.
